MS Word Custom Paper Sizes
You can select from a wide range of properties to modify the size of your printed materials. There are four options to alter these properties. They are called Alignment Margins, Base size and Color. You can also add an optional third property if you plan to use multiple copies of the same document.
Press the right arrow on the keyboard to open the Customized paper properties dialog box.(You may also find this button in the main menu of your printer.) Under Alignment, there are four different choices that include Home, Center Right-Fit, Offset, and. By choosing one of these four choices you can alter the alignment of your customized paper to a different position on your printer.
For more information on custom paper sizes and their impact on your printing, go to ” Printing”, and then “Settings”. You will see the word “Population settings” at the bottom of this window. The numbers in this text represent the amount of people in your target market who will be exposed to your advertisement. To alter the settings, click on the appropriate number. Enter the desired values and click OK to alter the settings.
Alignment This is the central point of page positioning. Microsoft Word is actually set to determine the position of your text based upon your current window’s position. The numbers in the upper left corner are the alignments you can use to personalize your document. There are three alignment options: Home, Center, or Offset. Click on the appropriate number to alter the alignment of your document.
Drop-down lists – You can alter the color scheme for your customized paper sizes by selecting the drop-down below the scale option. The list includes a combination of solid and dotted colors. When you select a color from the list, the scale will automatically be adjusted to match the color you select. To change the color scheme, click the color that you want and then click the ok button.
Two-Column AutoShaper: This allows you to fit your document in the perfect 2 column format by using the autoShaper with two columns. To do this, simply click on “semble” next to “flows”. The “flows” tab offers many useful tools, such as customizing page size control, page centering, alignment tools, and justification. These tools are accessible by clicking on the icons. To change the layouts, all you have to do is click the “link” icon.
Preset Colors – In older printers you may need to input manually the desired color for each page. However, modern printers let you set the size of your paper from a range of pre-set colors. Click on “color” to open the color palette. A list of colors will appear. To change your color selections you need to click on the desired color. To return to the color palette, click the “back” button.
The process of changing the paper size settings in your printer driver must be quick and easy. These tips will allow you to navigate the various options and settings that your printer driver offers. You can alter the paper information setting to make sure that your documents are in the right dimensions for your device.
The Print Server dialog box will open and display the following options: Current paper settings, which will display all the sizes of custom paper currently being used. Double-click “current size” to show the current sizes and their numbers. The number you choose will determine the maximum and minimum sizes your document can be. If you wish to extend your document, select the “stretch” tab and enter a number between zero and nine.
Click “print” in the writer main menu to update your paper’s size information. You will be presented with an update dialog box. Click “OK” to change the printer configuration. Next select “print” from the main menu, and then click the print settings tab. Now you will see a new set.
You’ll have to open the Print Server dialog box again then click the “add button”, enter the number between 1 and 9 and click “ok.” Before you click the “apply” button you can alter the values of the current setting. Within a matter seconds, you will see an array of custom paper sizes and they will all be available for your document. If you feel that this is too complicated, or if you want to save time by using only one document with different dimensions you can select “set number of spaces” and choose a suitable size in the range you have entered in the previous step.
